This rig was also for a local Correctional officer carring off duty. It is also made for a 1911 or clone. I really liked this holster, a little bit more expensive than a regular belt holster, but I really liked how it fit and held the gun. I almost didn't want to sell it, till I remembered I can always make another.

I made this for a local Correctional officer, he decided after seeing another holster that he wanted the other one, so I have this holster waiting for a home. It was made for a kimber custom tle 2 it will fit any 1911 clone. Might even work with a 3/4 tactical rail but I'm not sure.

Uncle Scott's Holster

It's been awhile, I have been working on new things. Recently my Uncle got wind of this little hobby and requested a holster, something to fit the middle of the back. So here is what came of it. I think I forgot to take pictures of the finished product, although it's not much different than the pictures you see, I did oil it and finish the edges, I decided not to dye it, because the leather turned out a very nice color on it's own.

This is one of my favorites. This is one of my Guns, the reason why I started making holsters in the first place. I made this holster about a year and a half after I started making holsters. This particular 1911 has a full light rail to the end of the barrel. Unlike the popular style today of a 3/4 light rail. This fact made it almost impossible to find a holster that it would fit in, I decided on day to make my own. It took the full year and a half to get good enough to make something I liked enough to wear, and this was it. I have found nice Kydex hosters that fit my gun perfectly since, but I still wear this at the range every time.

This is an early holster I made just after I learned what and how to "carve" leather. It turned out O.K. I have made a lot of improvements over time. While I like this style of holster, i don't think I will carve that again. The Gun is a Smith and Wesson something or other.

This holster is made for a 1911, a nice looking Sig actually, the client wanted a clip with the gun. This Holster looks too big to wear, but i compared it to a regular Duty pancake holster for a Beretta 92F and they are the same size, approximately.

This holster was made for a local Police Captain who is a friend of mine I told him he didn't need to pay cash just keep me out of getting tickets.

I tried to line this holster, and I discovered I still have much to learn. This worked out nicely but it was a lot of work. Step one: Choose the right leather. DO not use a 3 ounce leather for lining. It's too thick.

For those of you that are not familiar with Me an my leather work, all the sewing is done by hand. I am going to have to save up for a long time to afford a leather sticher, so for now, it's all by hand. Stiching by hand is much stronger, too bad it takes so long.



This design is not very common. I found a picture of this style on the Internet, so I'm sure some one going to be mad at me for coping, but I like this style for a couple reasons. First, it's uncommon, nice unique look.
Second and more important, this design holds the firearm very close to you body, so the chance of the gun catching on something like arm rests and chairs is relatively low. Makes for a nice look on anyones hip.

Here is a Inside the Waist Band concealed holster. Straight forward nice and simple. This is the finished product, it is not dyed to prevent staining skin and clothing over time.
